research paper Idea

I'm going to do mine on portraying robots in film. And the film I will choose is WALL-E. I only a few days ago on Disney XD (don't ask why) and they were showing Wall-E which was a Pixar movie i never saw yet. from what I remembered in Wall-E, The story takes place on a huge intergalactic space ship cruise where everything is run by machines including the morbidly obese inhabitants on the vacation ship. that's as far as i Remember of the story from watching it. Idk how Wall-E and EVE ended up on the ship but i do remember they were suppose to deliver a plant into the ship so it can go back to Earth but the robots on the ship won't allow that. i guess i'll watch the movie again and again cause I thought it was cool and because I love pixar and because This does have to do with Robots in movies. I think i'll enjoy this xD.

EDIT: OR!!!! 12:46am 9/30/10

I can make a research paper on portraying peoples minds. I was thinking about using Scott Pilgrim as an example because of how Scott magically dreamed of the love of his life and then had to fight for her but there's no thesis in that xD. I was just listening to "It's been a while by Staind" then I remembered about the movie known as the Butterfly effect. This movie actually touched me in a way where I should appreciate for what life is. The story is very Dark, ill-fated, and Psychological. The story is about a man who is able to travel back in time through the notes he kept on his notebooks when he was a kid. With these note books he would alter his past to see what would become of him in the future. And as he kept altering his past he ends up having different consequences for each outcome. And as he keeps going back to his present after altering his past he would go to his Psychiatrist and they would see his Brain altering. This to me is actually one of my favorite movies in existence and it was something i could relate to a few years back when a friend referred it to me when i was going through a Deep depression.

is Google messing with our minds.....?

I believe it is not Google or the internet that is dumbing down America little by little, but it is how we (the people) use the internet. The Internet is a whole source of everything right in front of you. All with the typing of the keyboard with the results that you are seeking. With the internet students and people alike can manage just about many things from papers, to reports, to pictures just about alot. But it is the time being spent on google/ the internet that makes people think that they are getting dumbed down. It is people who spend too much time on the internet that have a much decreased reading span as explained by Nicholas Carr in his article "Is Google making us stupid"
